When and where Nottingham Forest vs Arsenal is played

Nottingham Forest vs Arsenal kicks off at 16:30 on Sunday 18 October 2026 at the City Ground in Nottingham, a stadium with a capacity of 30,404. The riverside setting alongside the Trent gives the ground one of the more distinctive atmospheres in the Premier League, and a visit from Arsenal typically draws a full house.

Two clubs with contrasting recent histories

Nottingham Forest, twice European champions in their history, have re-established themselves in the Premier League in recent seasons, while Arsenal remain one of the league's most consistent top-four contenders. That contrast in recent trajectories gives this fixture an extra narrative layer, with Forest looking to prove they belong among the division's leading clubs.

Both sides have plenty else going on around this match. Nottingham Forest host Coventry City before this game and later travel to Crystal Palace, Ipswich Town and Brentford, before hosting Manchester City in early November. Arsenal, meanwhile, play Brighton away, host Leeds United's fixture context aside, and juggle Champions League league-phase games against Lille and Bayern Munich either side of this trip to Nottingham, before hosting Everton.

Choosing where to sit at the City Ground

The City Ground's compact layout means fans are close to the pitch throughout, but there are still differences worth noting:

• The Brian Clough Stand and Peter Taylor Stand run along the sides and offer the clearest full view of the game
• The Trent End sits closest to the river and is traditionally home to some of the most vocal Forest support
• The away end tends to be well attended for a club with Arsenal's following, so availability there can be limited

Given the ground's smaller capacity relative to some Premier League venues, popular categories for this fixture can move quickly.

Comparing prices for this fixture

Ticket prices for Nottingham Forest vs Arsenal can be compared across StubHub, Viagogo, Hellotickets, Football Ticket Net, Gigsberg and SportsEvents365, giving fans one place to check resale options from several partners rather than searching separately. Prices and availability can shift as the date nears, so it is worth checking back if a preferred category is not currently showing.
