When and where Crystal Palace play Nottingham Forest

Crystal Palace welcome Nottingham Forest to Selhurst Park on Sunday 11 October 2026, with kick-off at 14:00 local time. This Premier League fixture brings Nottingham Forest to south London to face Crystal Palace at a ground with a capacity of 25,486, one of the more compact and intense atmospheres in the division.

Selhurst Park's tight stands sit close to the pitch, and home matches there have a reputation for a vocal, tightly packed crowd that can make life uncomfortable for visiting sides.

What to expect from the match

This is a Premier League contest between two clubs with European football also on their plate this season. Crystal Palace are involved in the Europa League and will be balancing that commitment with this home league fixture at Selhurst Park, while Nottingham Forest look to build on their Premier League form with a result on the road.

Fixture congestion around European nights earlier in the week can affect team selection, so squad news close to kick-off is worth checking for both sides.

Choosing the right tickets

When comparing Crystal Palace vs Nottingham Forest tickets, it is worth thinking about which stand offers the view you want and how early you buy, as resale prices can move as the match date nears. This site compares prices from StubHub, Viagogo, Hellotickets, Football Ticket Net, Gigsberg and SportsEvents365, making it straightforward to see how the same seating categories are priced across different sellers.

Given the stadium's smaller capacity, seats anywhere in the ground tend to offer a decent view, though those closer to the pitch along the sides are usually in the highest demand.

Other matches to watch

Crystal Palace face Leeds United before this game and Europa League fixtures against Lyon and Besiktas either side of it, before hosting Newcastle United later in October. Nottingham Forest, meanwhile, play Coventry City before this match and go on to face Arsenal, Ipswich Town, Brentford and Manchester City in the weeks that follow.

• Leeds United vs Crystal Palace — earlier in September
• Lyon vs Crystal Palace — Europa League league phase
• Brighton vs Crystal Palace — later in October
• Besiktas vs Crystal Palace — Europa League league phase

These results should offer a useful guide to form heading into the Selhurst Park meeting.

Matchday at Selhurst Park

Selhurst Park is located in a residential part of south London and is reached via Selhurst railway station, a short walk from the ground. Its stands are close together and close to the pitch, which tends to amplify noise on matchday compared with larger, more modern grounds.

Nottingham Forest fans travelling to the fixture should confirm their allocated away section on their ticket, since segregation between home and away supporters is enforced throughout Premier League grounds. Allowing extra time before the 14:00 kick-off is sensible given the narrow streets surrounding the stadium.
