When and where Manchester United play Bournemouth

Manchester United host AFC Bournemouth at Old Trafford on Sunday 25 October 2026, with a 14:00 UK kick-off. It is a 2026-27 Premier League fixture at a stadium with a capacity of 74,197, one of the largest grounds in English football.

Old Trafford's Stretford End is traditionally the most vocal section of the ground, while the East and West Stands run the length of the pitch and give a full view of both penalty areas.

Comparing Manchester United vs Bournemouth tickets

For this fixture, listings can be compared across resale partners including StubHub, Viagogo, Hellotickets, Football Ticket Net, Gigsberg and SportsEvents365. Setting these side by side is the simplest way to see how prices differ for the same category of seat before committing to a purchase.

As with any Premier League fixture, prices tend to firm up closer to kick-off, so fans with flexibility on where they sit may find better value by comparing early and watching how listings move. Because United play at home in a stadium with room for over 74,000 fans, there is usually a wider spread of seat categories than at smaller grounds, which can make comparing prices across sections worthwhile.

Old Trafford has been United's home since 1910 and is known to supporters as the Theatre of Dreams, a nickname that reflects the club's history of late goals and memorable European nights on that pitch. That reputation continues to draw strong demand for home fixtures, Bournemouth included.

Manchester United's schedule around this game

United have a run of fixtures either side of the Bournemouth visit. They travel to face Fulham and later host Tottenham Hotspur at Old Trafford, alongside Champions League trips to face Atlético Madrid and Como. A league trip to Leeds United also falls in the same period.

Bournemouth's form on the road

Bournemouth arrive at Old Trafford having played across three competitions in the weeks before, including Premier League and Europa League football at the Vitality Stadium. Their away performances at the Premier League's bigger grounds are a useful guide to how open or cagey this fixture might turn out to be.

Bournemouth's run in the Europa League marks one of the club's first sustained periods in continental football, adding an extra layer of interest to a season in which they also have to balance a trip to one of the Premier League's biggest and most historic stadiums.

Picking a seat at Old Trafford

• The Stretford End suits supporters who want to be closest to the atmosphere
• The Sir Bobby Charlton and Sir Alex Ferguson Stands run the full length of the pitch for a balanced view
• Upper-tier seats give height and a clear look at team shape
• Seats nearer the corners often come at a lower price while keeping a decent angle on the game

Checking the exact block and row on any listing before buying is worth doing, since Old Trafford's size means the view can vary noticeably between tiers.
