The teams heading into this fixture

Shakhtar Donetsk use Stamford Bridge as a base for their home fixtures in this season's league phase, with further Champions League matches scheduled there against Sporting CP on 3 November and Fenerbahçe on 25 November. This match against AEK Athens is an early opportunity for the club to pick up points in the competition.

AEK Athens travel to London having faced Volos NFC in the Greek Super League, with further league fixtures against OFI Crete and Atromitos either side of this European trip. Choosing where to sit at Stamford Bridge

Stamford Bridge is a compact, traditional English ground with tight sightlines that keep fans close to the pitch throughout. Seats in the lower tier along the sidelines are usually the most in demand and priced accordingly, while seats behind the goals in the upper tiers offer a more affordable alternative.
