About Mexico City
Mexico City's Estadio Azteca is the only venue to have hosted two World Cup Finals (1970, 1986). For 2026 it hosts the tournament opener on 11 June (Mexico vs South Africa) plus three other group-stage matches and one knockout fixture.

- • From MEX (Benito Juárez airport): 40 min by Metrobús or 30 min by Uber in light traffic.
