Sunderland vs Brighton التذاكر

When and where Sunderland play Brighton

Sunderland welcome Brighton to the Stadium of Light on Saturday 10 October 2026, with kick-off at 15:00 local time. The fixture is a Premier League clash between two clubs at different points of the table, and it marks another chance for Sunderland to test themselves against established top-flight opposition at home.

The Stadium of Light, one of the larger grounds in English football, gives Brighton supporters a sizeable away allocation and a stage that regularly produces a strong atmosphere from the home crowd. Fans planning to travel to Sunderland should check transport links into the city well ahead of the weekend.

What to expect from the match

As a Premier League fixture, this match carries the usual weight of three points in a long campaign. Sunderland will look to make home advantage at the Stadium of Light count, while Brighton, known for their possession-based approach under recent management, will aim to control the game away from home.

Both clubs are also juggling continental football this autumn, with Sunderland involved in the Europa League and Brighton in the Conference League, so squad rotation around fixture congestion is worth watching in the build-up to this game.

Choosing the right tickets

Comparing Sunderland vs Brighton tickets means weighing up seating location, proximity to either end where the more vocal supporters gather, and how early you buy, since resale prices can shift as the match approaches. Fans wanting the best possible view of the pitch generally look towards the lower tiers along the sides, while those chasing atmosphere tend to head for the areas behind the goals.

Other matches to watch

Sunderland have a busy October, with a trip to Manchester City before this game and Europa League away days at Torreense and Lech Poznań either side of the Brighton match, before hosting Leeds United later in the month. Brighton, meanwhile, face Arsenal and then Crystal Palace and Liverpool in the Premier League, alongside Conference League fixtures against Kauno Zalgiris and Jablonec.

Matchday practicalities

The Stadium of Light sits a short walk from Sunderland city centre and is well served by the Stadium of Light Metro stop, making it one of the more straightforward Premier League grounds to reach without a car. Its large single-tier stands mean sightlines are generally good throughout the ground.

Away fans travelling with Brighton should confirm their allocated stand and block on their ticket in advance, since Premier League grounds keep home and away supporters strictly separated. Arriving with plenty of time before the 15:00 kick-off is advisable given the crowds converging on the stadium approach roads.
